The team behind Safe & Sound

New Dawn New Day has been supporting women in Leicester and Leicestershire for over 35 years. Since 2010, they have specialised in providing support to women who are in contact with the criminal justice system. The vast majority of the women they work with have experienced complex trauma, leading to multiple unmet needs and barriers when seeking support.

Ideas to Impact is a small consultancy working in the voluntary and public sectors, carrying out research and evaluation, facilitation, partnership development, and training across a range of areas including trauma- and psychologically informed management and the development and assessment of quality standards.

Comments from organisations using the framework

Progress can be easily measured, useful when presenting to boards and funders

I like how the assessment is blocked into different categories, it's easy to work with

I absolutely love the framework, the exercise has helped me to look at things in more detail around support for clients

The framework is comprehensive and makes quite an overwhelming (at first!) task feel more manageable
